We are an independent statutory body responsible for managing Victoria’s environmental water entitlements, in cooperation with program partners, to improve the environmental health of rivers, wetlands and floodplains.

Our organisation is comprised of four part-time Commissioners, supported by a small office led by the Chief Executive Officer and specialist team members including those in technical, communication and administrative roles.

Independent member and Chair of the Victorian Environmental Water Holder Risk and Audit Committee

The Risk and Audit Committee (RAC) is an advisory committee to the VEWH. The primary objective of the Risk and Audit Committee is to assist the VEWH in delivering on its responsibilities for annual financial reporting and in ensuring appropriate risk management and governance frameworks are in place for the VEWH and its Office.

The Victorian Environmental Water Holder invites suitably qualified and experienced people to register an expression of interest for a position as independent member of the Victorian Environmental Water Holder Risk and Audit Committee.
